Welcome to SEUSSICAL!
This bright happy show will have you humming all summer! This is a Full Cast Ensemble driven show – meaning everyone gets to sing A LOT. The stories of Seuss are woven together and told to the audience in creative colorful ways – all in song (and many in rhyme)! Adults and Children will LOVE learning it, practicing it and performing it!!

The basic rehearsal schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 pm. I make every effort to be very efficient with time and will only call an actor if he/she is needed for that rehearsal. However, your schedule should accommodate these days. Parents of young children should chaperone.

Rehearsals will take place mostly at the HK Middle School, but sometimes a nearby location depending on availability of space. All details on the website will be very clear. We'll do some overview music practices starting May 29. I know that until school lets out, schedules are tight. We'll be flexible and know you will do your best to attend.

Please reserve the whole week of July 30 for Dress Rehearsals. The performance dates are August 3,4,5 and 10,11,12. (Fri/Sat evenings & Sun matinees) We understand that many people have varied and full schedules and that summer is a time for vacations. However, this is a collaborative effort that requires the dedication and mutual respect of all, especially within the last two weeks of production.

While there is no fee to participate in Artful Living's productions, you are expected to sell a minimum of three advertisements for the program and to sell a minimum of 10 tickets. Please consider your commitment now.

Children cast as a Whos will have the opportunity to be creative in their parts. I told them some can be mommy/daddy Whos, some baby Whos, some Granny Whos – all the fun community members. We'll have more information about costuming very soon.

Finally, one of the biggest joys is the collective creative contributions from everyone involved. You will be asked to help participate in some way with Costumes, Props, Scenery, Chaperoning, Public Relations, Poster Hanging, Concessions and???
